Terms

Last updated 23 October 2026.

These terms cover your use of dxnode, run from New York, United States. By making an account or using the site you agree to them. How we handle personal information is on the privacy page.

Your account

Give your real name and details, keep your password to yourself, and tell us at [email protected] if you think someone else has used your account. One account is for one person. You can delete your account at any time from your account page.

Callsigns

Claim only callsigns that are licensed to you, or to a club you're a trustee of. We may ask for a copy of the license. If the licensed holder of a callsign shows us their license, we move the callsign and its page to them. We may also remove a callsign from an account that claimed it falsely.

What you publish

Your page, your photos and your logbook belong to you. When you publish them on dxnode, you let us store them, show them the way you set them up, and keep encrypted backups. You're responsible for what you publish, including having the right to use any photos or words that aren't yours.

We moderate for the law, never for opinion. We take down what is against the law, such as threats, anything that sexualizes children, someone's private information posted without their consent, and copyrighted material when its owner asks. We don't take things down because they're unpopular or because we disagree with them.

Using the site and the API

Please don't:

Logbook API keys are for your own log and your own logging programs. If you find a security problem, tell us at the address above and give us a fair chance to fix it before telling anyone else.

License records

License records are copied from national regulators and shown as they publish them. They may be out of date or wrong. Corrections belong with your regulator, and dxnode picks them up at its next refresh. Don't rely on dxnode as the official record of anyone's license.

No guarantees

dxnode can go down, and it can make mistakes. We do our best to prevent both and to keep your information safe, but we can't promise. Download your log now and then so you always have your own copy.

If dxnode fails you, the most we owe, where the law allows, is what you paid us in the past 12 months. We don't owe anything for losses that follow from it, like a missed contact or lost business.

Ending things

You can stop using dxnode and delete your account at any time. If an account breaks these terms, we may suspend or close it, and we'll tell you why when we can.

Changes and law

When we change these terms, we change the date at the top. If a change matters to you, we email you before it takes effect. These terms are under New York State and United States law.
